Great News!

Good news! William does not have a tumor. They don't know yet what the issue is but it is great news for us that the tumor was ruled out. I really don't need anymore major stressors. So I am pretty relieved.

Winter Recovery

It is good to see the weather getting a bit warmer here. It allows the kids to get out of the house a little to break their cabin fever.

Joshua has been getting serious nose bleeds lately. It seems to be a trait he got from Granddad Reynolds. It got to the point we could not stop it and had to take him to the emergency room to get his nose cauterized. He sounds like he has croup again. He will be getting a check up today.

Matthew as been doing ok and seems to have gotten over his recent illness. He is a strong boy and seldom has to many problems. We were all sick with I believe food poisoning from a fast food joint for a while. It was a little stressful with all the throwing up all the boys were doing. We believe it was from a soda fountain where they all got sick. I don’t think they were sanitizing it every day.

Anyway, William had his MRI and CAT scan yesterday and we should be getting the diagnosis soon of ruling out a tumor. At least that is what we are praying for. His helmet seems to be improving the shape of his head, so it seems to be working.

Anyway, it is good to see the new babies arriving in the family this year. There have been quite a few in the past year. I hope all is well with everyone.

First Day

Well we will see how I do at keeping up with this. I will most likely not be as good at it as Melody... my little sister... but here it goes.

Today my youngest son (William) was fitted with his helmet. He is six months old and his head was not forming right. He has a pupil that was not dilating well and the doctors believe it has something to do with the pressure from his brain against the improper formation of the rear of his skull. The helmet is supposed to help form the back of his head. Anyway... he is a growing boy. He is only six months and is fitting into a twelve month old outfits.

My two oldest boys (Joshua and Matthew) are in school and went back to school today. They had both just got over an illness. My oldest (Joshua) still needs his oxygen as he was born with several health issues but is doing quite well. When he is not ill with some other illness he can go several hours without his oxygen. But he always has to have his oxygen on when he is sleeping. Because of his internal problems the doctors don't think he will live past his teens... but we shall see. They did not believe he would walk or maybe live as long as he has already. I have no problem in helping my son prove the doctors wrong.
